(EST. 2009) I see life in an abstract, slanted way. This blog was made to try and display that point of view to the people who don't know me, or those who know me more than I know myself. The blog title came from a combo of "This is What I Call Her" By Lil'Wayne, the constant smell of reefer on some of my close friends, and of course my last name [don't forget the "E"]. I'm high off of life, this blog is my blunt and I'm passing it too you. Inhale until you feel you've had too much GREENE.

Heaven at Night.

This post is titled Heaven at Night because that's exactly how I feel right now.

Naw, I'm not high (off of substance). But my mood is so_chill , after a quick nap in the infamous Hogue Pathfinder with my "sleeplist" playing from the back speakers [listed in earlier post]. I got out and walked through my backdoor with Cudi's "Heaven at Night" on constant replay in my mind. I'm on a natural high right now, if you don't understand what I mean, it's cool.

Today was random, making it a perfect fit in this odd week. Woke up to a phone call saying, "Yo, you tryna cook breakfast at my crib?" That jump started my day. Breakfast at Corey's never happened, yet I was there about 3 or 4 times this morning. Byron, Curt, Corey and I all ended up eating breakfast at some breakfast joint [haha, "joint."] on 5th street called P&B's Lunch and Breakfast. We ordered mad food and "put it down" like that Dream track. It was major. I'm not going to mention the rest of my day because that was the definite highlight.

[The only other thing I'm going to mention about today is the thumb injury I received today. I def got youngboa'd by a seven year old. So, a certain playful youngster I know (Brother of a close friend) decided to take his belt off and swing the buckle part around. He swung it at me and it hit me dead in the thumb... on the nail part. I was pretty mad, but didn't show it too much because It hurt. In result, the child decided to do say something to me so his mom would not find out [because I would snitch on his little ass, because that's ALWAYS funny with little kids]. After he noticed me holding my hand and turning around in search of his mother, he hit me with a stone cold, high pitched, "MAN UP." I stopped and looked at him. I really had no idea how to reply, especially to a seven year old. I didn't want to seem like I was bitching about my hand so I let go and acted like I was good. I just replied with a, "shut up..." [You know the kind of "shut up" that just slips out automatically because you have to come back, and your running out of time to reply? Well yeah, that's the one.] So anyway, he ended up getting the best of me, and in result I have a black and blue thumb and a super smack face. Just thought I'd mention this.]

This week at Masterman was senior week. Each day was a theme where you dressed up. I only participated in "middle school day" where you dressed like your middle school self, but it was fun regardless. We now have yearbooks and caps&gowns. Signing yearbooks has been somewhat sad, but it's whatever I guess... graduation is almost here. We out.

Flicks from this week and this morning:

[SOO GOOOOD.]

[You know your out the city when you have one of these. Corey comes out in his bathrobe every morning then yells, "Howyadoin'" to his neighbors and then gets his mail from this thing. I think he's lost his Philly-ness.]

[I carried around Mott's apple juice for most of the morning. It's 100% Juice... which is major. &Who doesn't like apple juice?]

[Mr. Hogue, possibly one of the funniest men ever. This picture is mad blog worthy.]

[Yearbook signing. Tear, sniffle, tear.]

[Middle school day & create your own superhero day]

[Peep the little bobble head.]

[I received mad compliments for these socks. I guess they're pretty major.]

GREENE.

I HATE SOUTH STREET.

Saturday was a day full of no plans and walking.
Me and Corey decided to go downtown then wing everything that was done. My initial plan was to hit up the roots picnic, so I gave Mal $50 dollars some tiime in the morning. However, even though she got down there pretty early, tickets were sold the hell out. So after a little shopping, an attempt to fix Corey's iPhone glass, and a quick meet with Melo and Hez, we waited for Rob and WALKED to the roots picnic. [Haha]

We got there and could not get in. We even used our black connection with some of the middle aged security, and in result we got, "There's no way you getting in, THEY WON'T EVEN LET ME IN THIS BITCH!" Too funny.

After hearing that, our thoughts of sneaking in disinigrated. I met up with Mal at the entrance she gave me my money back and because she is such a great friend she gave me a copy of Rising Down signed by Questlove. That's love right there. We stood at the gate and talked to Mal as we watched some guy get pushed around by this short, fat, black security women. I was getting mad for the guy. Then suddenly Corey pointed out something that gave me the a huge smack face.

[There was this guy we saw on Arch street with this huge, purple and yellow, big and tall section, PELLE PELLE sweat suit on. Our initial reaction was laughter, the guy looked ridiculous. Okay, now fast forward to our current position outside of the roots picnic. We saw the same huge, Laker blimp looking guy behind the gate, in the roots picnic, handing out posters because he worked there. Maybe instead of bussin' on the guy's enormous PELLE PELLE lay, we should have asked him where he got it and complimented him. Then went to the same store and purchased the same outfits... with matching du-rags. That way he would have to let us in.]

We left the Festival Peir, chilled on Penn's Landing, then went to wackville aka South Street. Every time I am on south street I get the same feeling. A feeling of anger mixed with curiousity. The curiousity is sparked from the question, "Why the f*** am I here... again?" [I blame it on Corey] The anger is generated from all the dudes who are staring at me like I'm the clearance section in the Polo outlet. I just don't know why dudes stare. Is everybody in a Philly wide staring contest that I'm unaware of? If so please let me know before I have to go to my trunk, haha sike naw. But besides the staring, it seems like south street is filled with little girls who pace up and down all night looking for attention, and homothugs [not gay bashing, just saying they're all the same. 'Cause they are.] trying to impress them by fighting, groping, YEEURRP-ing [haha] and downright drawlin'. Whenever people from out of town want to tour the city, they always ask if South Street is where they should go. In my opinion I'd rather go to a Klan festival in upstate PA, before I visited South Street. I take that back, but you get my point by now. Maybe it will change, but right now I DO NOT BANG WITH SOUTH STREET.

On a brighter note I ran into a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while yesterday, that's always good...

[Melo: Pause. Hez: *Giggle*]

[Love for the Kick push]

AUTOTUNE? NAAAW.

I am officially done the Masterman Highschool Curriculum... that is love.

It's been so much going on, I haven't really had time to post. But without further adieu, the boul GREENE [clapping, well in my head just now]. Over these last days of school it has basically been, senior projects and graduation practice. Aside from that I've just been spending time with my circle of friends at the big J.R. Me and Rachel [Who is possibly the coolest friend I have] are the only people leaving the the state for college. Everyone else is getting their UTempleNovasylvania on. That is a good thing though, because when I come home to Philly, I am not going "home." I will be in a different dorm every night. I got dorms for daysss, Haha. I've taken a lot of pictures over this week so far. I will go into more detail about some of them and post more AFTER we gradaute, because I am definitly trying to walk... Any way these pictures are from some resort in the pocanos and wherever else the wind took us. Holler.

[ByTheWay, Jay-Z - Death of Autotune. Give it a nice listen. Production features No I.D and
some Yeezy character...]

[To be continued... Giff needs to put his happy trail away though. Haha... ]

[I made a atrong effort to bother Nia at work all week. She is mad creative with face blocking methods.]

[Caught up with an old friend, we're both in VA next year. Two up, two down.]

[During senior presentations. I swear this dude gets away with everything.]

Damn y'all... It's almost over. Crazy, right?

"You got your Pokédex? Mines right here."

Yesterday was random. On my way downtown I ran into my ol' head Mr. Kevin. I met him randomly through Germel when we were walking to Broad and Olney a couple weeks ago. This man is not your ordinary ol' head. He is probably one of the fittest soon to be fifty year olds that you will ever meet. Some older men tend to talk out of there ass, just to sound important, Mr. Kev is nothing of the sort. He speaks with a logic that anyone can relate to, and everytime I speak to him, I learn something new. I road the train and talked to him for two good hours as I waited for Hezzy at city hall. As a trainer for the sixers and all around good guy, this man has my respect.

Here is how the day looked.

[Shouts to Rah and Hez for the flicks.]

Gotta catch 'em all (2x).
